Painting it yellow

I don't know why, but lately I just love the color yellow.  All different shades of yellow.  I have been attracted to buying all kinds of vintage items in yellow.  Now I have decided to paint my kitchen cabinets yellow, but I want to see if I can live with such a bright color in my kitchen.  So I bought some old vintage shelves and painted them yellow and hung them in the kitchen.  The I found an old wooden shelf in a thrift store and painted it yellow and placed it under one of the vintage shelves.  Of course I had to fill the shelves up with vintage cups, vintage collectible figurines, some old Pyrex bowls.  I also found some vintage porcelain planters in yellow to add to it.  Now I'm waiting to see if I can live with that color yellow on my cabinets too.
